I LOVE THIS!!! I even started to shed tears lol!!! CloudXTifa Forever!!!!
Tifa looks so cute in this!!!

As good as the art is… Ts was kinda corny, ngl, man. Is Cloud really insecure, or was that just something made for this storyline? Cause all she did was grope him a little, not jump his bones, be fr
Man, I get why it might look corny if you don’t know the full story, but this is actually VERY in-character for Cloud. Cloud from Final Fantasy VII is super insecure, especially when it comes to Tifa. Like, this isn’t something made up. Back when they were kids in Nibelheim, Cloud was basically an outcast. The other kids didn’t really like him and he didn’t have friends. He always watched Tifa from a distance and wanted to impress her, but he felt like he wasn’t good enough to be around her. And the Mt. Nibel bridge thing. Tifa and her friends went up the mountain, they pushed her to go further, but when things got dangerous they all bailed. Cloud was the only one who stayed and tried to help her, and they both fell. Tifa ended up in a coma… and instead of blaming the other kids, everyone blamed Cloud. Even Tifa’s dad started hating him
Then you get the promise scene under the water tower. Cloud tells Tifa he’s going to leave town and become a SOLDIER like Sephiroth so he can come back and be someone worthy of protecting her. That’s literally him building his whole identity around “I need to be strong enough for Tifa.” Fast forward to the Nibelheim Incident — Sephiroth loses it and burns the entire town. Cloud is there, but not as the cool SOLDIER he wanted to be… just a regular grunt. He’s so ashamed he can’t even tell Tifa it’s him. Meanwhile she’s there too and doesn’t even know he came back for her. That insecurity hits even harder. And then years later when they reunite, everything starts unraveling — Cloud’s identity, his memories, all of it — and Tifa is the one who helps him put himself back together.
She literally sees the real him, the insecure kid who just wanted to protect her, and she accepts him. That’s why their relationship hits so hard. So yeah, when you see Cloud acting awkward or insecure over Tifa touching him or getting close… that’s not random or exaggerated. That’s years of feeling like he’s not good enough for the one person he cares about most. It’s not just “she groped him a little” to Cloud, it’s like “why would someone like Tifa even want me?” “How can I fail Tifa again?” And the best part? Tifa has always cared about him for who he is.
Hope this helped!!! I am a HUGE FFVII fan and just wanted to explain this to someone who isn’t familiar with the series and the relationship of Cloud and Tifa and Cloud’s insecurities. Sorry if it’s long lol!!!
Damn, now that I actually know, I feel like a total dick.
Don’t worry, I read every word. That’s… Actually really nice to know. And uh, yeah, I only played, like, one game, and I barely even remember it, lmao. It was a final fantasy game, but the only part I really remember was swimming in hallway into a room, I think, where you then fight some monster or *something* lmao, I have no idea, so this lore drop is great to know.
The manga is actually good
Peak
oh how the heavens have blessed me… this comic may have lacked the pornography display for the place it was shown, but man was it something memorable. Artist is not only excellent at his artistic illustrations, but also a great writer that was capable of constructing such a great piece of media with deep and thoughtful character development, internal conflicts and love. Its a blessing that i didn’t judge it for its cover. 10/10, yours truly, william shrekspeare.
